The song follows a girl who lost her sister. As she experiences the grief, she begins to forget what it's like to have had her sister with her.
She simultaneously reminisced on the good times they had together while being torn by reality.

However, I've been playing piano since my freshman year and picked up basic chords on my guitar during my sophomore year in High School. I fell in love with the ability to express my struggles through the power of sound and words that others may relate to. I strive to write music that subtly describes a mental obstacle, experience, or hidden optimism. I enjoy listening to melancholy music or pop-rock music including (but not limited to) Matt Maeson, Cian Ducrot, Lewis Capaldi, Noah Kahan, and Anson Seabra. [collapse]
